About Us
Rachel
Rachel is a dedicated paediatric occupational therapist with a strong passion for early intervention, using a relationship-focused, play-based approach to support the development and well-being of young children. She believes in a neurodiversity-affirming practice, recognising and fostering each child’s individual strengths and needs within the context of a positive and supportive therapeutic relationship. Rachel has extensive experience working with children across a broad spectrum of neurodivergent and developmental conditions, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), chromosomal disorders, global developmental delay, and intellectual impairment.
Rachel has recently embarked on her PhD journey in paediatric feeding disorders, with a focus on improving the overall care and therapeutic approaches for children with feeding difficulties. Her research seeks to enhance practices, promote better outcomes, and contribute to the development of more effective and holistic interventions for children and families facing feeding challenges.

Outside of the clinic, Rachel enjoys spending time at the beach, walking dog, going on hikes and will be the first to admit she has a serious weakness for donuts.
Alex
Alex is a paediatric occupational therapist with a strong background in neurorehabilitation and a commitment to neurodiversity-affirming practice. Originally trained in the UK, she now supports children, young adults, and families through the NDIS across developmental and neurological presentations, including autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, and complex trauma.
She takes a holistic, person-centred approach to support emotional regulation, sensory integration, and daily living skills. Alex values authentic relationships and works collaboratively with families to build confidence, connection, and meaningful participation. With a special interest in emotional regulation and sensory processing, she blends structured assessment with playful, child-led approaches and champions early intervention alongside caregivers and educators.

Outside of the clinic, Alex enjoys strength training, running, and coastal walks, often using these routines to support her own wellbeing and mindfulness. She loves exploring new places, and believes that joy, play, and connection are essential to both life and therapy.
Charlotte
Charlotte is an Allied Health Assistant and Administrator who is currently in her fourth year of studying Occupational Therapy at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Charlotte is passionate about working with children and supporting them in their development. When Charlotte is not studying, she enjoys playing netball, going to the gym, walks along the beach and trying new healthy recipes.
Emily
Peaches
Peaches’ calm and gentle nature provides emotional support for children alongside encouraging social reciprocity and helps increase children’s participation in activities. Peaches is a certified therapy dog with Therapy Dogs Australia.
Peaches’ favourite spot is at the beach where he loves to play fetch and dig in the sand. He also loves to play with and carry soft, squeaky toys (or anything else he can get his mouth around to carry).
